The JHSC is represented by Labor and Management volunteers from throughout the CSU. We invite you to use this “one stop source” for comprehensive health and safety information that can be applied at your campus.
Consistent with the current Unit 6 Collective Bargaining Agreement safety language, The JHSC defines its mission as one to provide guidance and assistance in the effective implementation of a campus’s health and safety program.
Some of the many resources we provide are:
- Applicable health and safety programs developed by our sister campuses
- Safety training, training curricula, webinars, etc.
- Guidance documents
- Subject Matter Experts
- Regulatory updates and resources to reduce work-related injuries, illnesses and hazards
- Editorials that will provide valuable information on current health and safety topics
Electrical Safety Webcast and Resources
The JHSC encourages less travel and more information sharing by connecting people, committees and task forces with existing resources via this web page. In order to better address your needs, we encourage you to send us your suggestions.
The JHSC is a resource whose goal is to create and sustain Systemwide Partnerships between SETC, EHS and Plant Management. In closing, both SETC and the CSU agree that Safety is an opportunity for Labor and Management to work together in achieving this and other common goals.
